Marcus D. Cobb is a coding prodigy turned entrepreneur. Over the past 25 years, he has architected technologies and global business strategies for some of the world’s most respected companies—including Microsoft, GE, Dell, Northern Trust, CitiGroup, Ticketmaster, and Caesars Entertainment Group.
Mr. Cobb has also been recruited to lead artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives for major institutions such as HCA Healthcare and Nielsen Music, where his work helped shape the future of data-driven decision making in both healthcare and entertainment.
With deep expertise in fintech and corporate strategy, his solutions are estimated to process over $200 billion annually.
Marcus developed and released his first video game at the age of 11 and was hired by Microsoft at just 20 years old to lead healthcare innovations within their consulting division—making him the youngest technical leader at the company at the time. Remarkably, he achieved all this without a formal college degree.
With a lifelong commitment to giving back, Mr. Cobb actively volunteers with several charitable organizations, including Chicago’s renowned i.c. stars, which empowers underserved young adults through technology and leadership training. He has served on the boards of the Illinois Technology Foundation and the Music Business Association (MusicBiz), helping shape the future of tech and entertainment.
His global impact includes work with the Global Development Program, a strategic initiative focused on humanitarian efforts such as establishing clean water infrastructure in Rwanda and helping to build some of the first co-educational schools in Afghanistan.
As a founder, mentor, and global strategist, Marcus remains committed to leaving a legacy of innovation, opportunity, and lasting social change.
